Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. She has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea's professional career started in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after she appeared in small roles on Irish and British television shows beginning in 2009. She began appearing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms from 2012. She began appearing regularly on panel shows after winning an award for The Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is a popular contestant of the sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she is the mother of one sibling named Sinead. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea is her maiden name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian took his life at the age of three. He was a horse veterinarian. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing to death until she was 13 years old. Her stage name Bea was a tribute for her father. Bea wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey with suicide. Bea, along with her sister Sinead, were raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Their family was fascinated by horses and race meetings. When she was a child, Bea was a tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early age that she wasn't keen on the sport of racing as a job, and loved performing.
