Matthew Matt James, born December 5, 1991 from North Carolina. Matthew Matt James a mixed race son of Manny James (of Jamaican descendance) as well as Patty James. He is the son of a Nigerian father and a Caucasian mom. In 2010, James completed his studies at Sanderson High School. Then the following year, he attended Wake Forest University in order to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Science degree in Economics. James first became famous for his role as The Bachelorette's reality star. James was chosen in 2020 as the new bachelor for The Bachelor season 25, becoming the show's initial African American male star. The show premiered later in the year. James was the best selection for the role since he's rounded tall, athletic and has a good sense of humor. Rachael Krukconnell was James's love interest towards the close of the season. In 2021, he joined forces with famous dancer Arnold to compete in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th place.
